Currently, more and more attention of both researchers and clinicians is focused on the relationship between the skin and the mind. The above connections can be regarded as a good example of the intimate association between our physical and mental health. What is more, ubiquitous, in contemporary world, stress is thought to exert its effects on immunomodulatory responses of the organism. Moreover, nowadays the majority of clinical studies employ psychological assessment of the patients into holistic evaluation of the skin disease.
So, the aim of Advances in psycho-immuno-dermatological research session is to present updated information on both research findings and clinical psychodermatological issues by bridging both laboratory and clinical aspects, that will be delivered by world known experts in the field, who are not restricted to single organization membership.
